the other night jadon was reading a book to evangelina a book called 'big brother, little brother' when it got to the part about the big brother pretending to eat worms. Jadon proudly began to teach Evangelina: 'Never, never, never eat worms, OK Mina?' Then he got the look of 'there might be the special situation when my 'never' rule doesn't apply', so he added, '...unless you're homeless, since I guess it does have some protein & vitamins.'

Earlier while the kids were watching the movie "Paddington" at my office, apparently a scene showed some rather affectionate expression between a man & woman.
JJ, sitting at the computer next to the kids, quickly said, "Cover your eyes! You should not be watching that kind of stuff... kissing!"
Jadon quickly retorted, "They're husband and wife!"
JJ: "Are they married?"
Jadon: "Yes."
JJ: "OK."
