how do advertisers do this???!!!

Weeks ago Jadon started "writing a book for Evangelina," an alphabet book listing various words that begin with each letter, starting with "A." The few pages he started on are complete with illustrations, & I was heartwarmed that he would do such a thing for his little sister, though I didn't take a close look at his work until yesterday.

"A" is for...
apple
acorn
airplaine
angry
ax
alpha
ash

"B" is for...
book
box
bingo
boom
beak
brush
boo-boo
bird

"C" is for...
can
cat
cool
Coors light [YES COORS LIGHT!, COMPLETE WITH A PICTURE OF A CAN POPPING OPEN!!! WE DON'T EVEN HAVE TELEVISION AT HOME!!!]
cough

Rock, Paper, Scissors superlatives

One thing that Jadon & I like to do is play Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS; Chinese "Jian-dao, Shi-tou, Bu") in creative ways. While at the pool, we started playing a version of RPS such that whenever we're underwater, the rules are 'upside down': scissors beat rock, paper beats scissors, rock beats paper. Earlier today (11/22/2014) while we were playing RPS in the car, we started coming up with new objects to beat the other: we both came up with the bomb (can beat rock, paper, & scissors)... then quickly went on to more zany objects:

TOGETHER:
Jian-dao, Shi-tou, Bu!
(ALMOST SIMULTANEOUSLY)
JADON: earthquake!
DADDY: the sun!

Obviously, I won that round, to Jadon's chagrin. Then, with Jadon's eyes widening with the determination to beat me...

TOGETHER:
Jian-dao, Shi-tou, Bu!
(ALMOST SIMULTANEOUSLY)
DADDY: galaxy!
JADON: God's hand!

Needless to say, Jadon won that round, & together we were left in stitches.
